Articles generated on Unpacked are created using publicly available information gathered through web research. We do not reproduce copyrighted articles, and our editorial pipeline is designed to synthesise and analyse information rather than copy it. All articles include source attribution where applicable.
User-uploaded content
Users can upload images to their articles. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any images they upload. Unpacked does not review uploaded images for copyright compliance but will act promptly on valid complaints.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe content on Unpacked infringes your copyright, please send a notice to:

Your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The URL of the infringing content on Unpacked
- Your contact information (name, email, phone number)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
What we do when we receive a notice
We will:
- Review the notice within 5 business days
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content if the notice is valid
- Notify the user who uploaded or published the content
- Provide the user an opportunity to submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error
We may also remove content at our discretion where we believe there is a risk of infringement, even before completing a full review.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to hello@unpacked.fyi including:
- Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed in error
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts
- Your physical or electronic signature
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, at our discretion based on severity and frequency.
